I remembered this morning that I hadn't posted pics from my trip to Bend and since the "make a blog post" emails are already coming in, I figured I had better get something up here.
I love how it's always the decrepit buildings that have the "No Trespassing" signs. |
| There was a great hiking trail behind the lodge that we were staying. |
| I was really surprised at just how dry Bend was. I had geared myself up for lots of ferns and moss during our hikes. Instead I was met with dust and dead wood. |

| Sometimes I get to photograph couples that are just WAY too perfect. Trish and Chuck are like a perfect storm of awesome. Intelligent, hilarious, and really, really good looking. |

| My Grandma Is Way Cooler Than Your Grandma |

So, yesterday I realized that my Grandma's birthday had snuck up on me. I called her around lunch time and got her machine, which didn't give me too much pause, I assumed she was out on the town enjoying a nice birthday meal, perhaps. Fast forward six hours, still hadn't heard back from her, which did give me pause. Surely her machine was working. Surely she would have called me back when she got my message. A little while later, I remembered that my 81 year old Grandma is in Amsterdam for like, three weeks.
Coolest. Grandma. Ever.
