Your "No, Don't Do That" Holiday Gift Giving Guide
I was asked to do an Oprah-esque "Best Gift" list for my blog and in the process of putting it together decided that a worst gift list would be much more entertaining (for me at least).

First up, this classy little dog purse that you can find in lots of different breeds HERE.

A copy of Hotel Rwanda on DVD. I can't really imagine a better movie to watch over and over again.

This holiday season, make your little lady smell like Rite Aid, y'all.

This polycarbonate cow print luggage set deeply scares me. What's more is that the "regular" price was $724.99. Yowza!

I know that swimsuits aren't a real popular holiday gift, but even so I just had to make sure that no one, ever, at any time gives a Wholesome Wear swimsuit to me, or anyone, for that matter.

I Hate Eating Vegetables
But, oddly enough, I love drinking them! Santa came a little early for us this month and I'm glad that he did because we are going to need all the help we can get when it comes to energy reserves. I had my eye on this particular juicer for a few months and it ended up going on major sale after Black Friday.

You are probably wondering why on earth a new juicer warrants a blog post, so perhaps I should start at the beginning. I seriously hate vegetables. I ate them when I was younger to please my parents and perhaps get dessert out of the deal. Which is more than I can say for my little brother. He always flat out refused and somehow scored a brownie anyway. Probably because he is, as my grandmother says, "the looker in the family." Anyway, when I got to college I don't think I ate a single vegetable unless it was an incidental casserole ingredient or fried in some manner. Now that I am older, I fake liking them to seem a bit more sophisticated and worldly but the truth is I'm still, just as I was at 8, making gagging noises in my head. You can't really get around the fact that they are insanely good for you though, not to mention that a strict meat and potatoes diet is sort of asking for cancer. So, enter juicer. You can't get more efficient than eating all of this in a glass:

Now here is the blog worthy part: a bunch of kale, parsley, spinach, sprouts, and an apple = AWESOME! Seriously, it is the best thing I've ever tasted. It makes no sense that this would appeal to my alarmingly childlike palate but it is utterly delicious. Not to mention it looks like a cocktail fit for a fairy princess. Here's to drinking your veggies.
